Extra Space Storage of Miami, Florida offers superior customer service and gives you more storage for your money, with 10-foot high ceilings so you can pack more into your unit and longer access hours than any other storage facility in the area. We are conveniently located near Southwest 97th Avenue and Coral Way, down the street from Sedano’s Supermarket. Our facility has 821 self-storage units ranging in size from 3’x 3’x 4’ lockers to 20’x 25’ units, some of which are climate-controlled for sensitive items. We also have storage spaces for RVs, cars, boats and other vehicles. Our knowledgeable storage specialists can help you determine the unit that fits your needs. Because we value our customers’ security, our facility has motion detection cameras providing 24-hour video surveillance, electric gate access and a manager who lives onsite. We also want to make your move easier so we’ve implemented convenient features like drive aisles wide enough for semi-trucks, moving carts for interior units and passenger elevators. Our extended gate hours, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., are longer than most other storage facilities and allow you to access your belongings when you need them. Our facility also offers a unique feature called DocuSign, an electronic lease that allows you to sign your rental agreement digitally to save you time. As part of the community, many of our customers enjoy entertainment at Tamiani Park Stadium, Roxy Performing Arts Center, the Annual Harvest Fest, Oktoberfest and the Miami Carnival Parade and Festival. Because of our proximity to Florida International University, many students store with us either long-term or while in transition. I have been using this facility for over a year now and had been happy overall until they began raising the monthly fee every month. I called and requested they freeze my price or I would take my stuff elsewhere, which would have been a hassle, and they did freeze it. However, the price had already gone up significantly, not worth it when you add it up over a year. I have now decided to remove my stuff and take it elsewhere.

The facility was good

The facility has a good working security gate and keypads.
Temperature controlled areas are cool and have low humidity.
It had spacious elevators in good working condition able to fit large amounts of furniture.
The entry doors have timed magnetic lock to hold them open.
The isles are nice and wide for furniture to roll freely through them.
The doors to the storage units are OK. The could be a couple of inches wider though.
The staff was very helpful in opening the account and touring the facility to show me my storage unit.
The floors in the facility are dusty but otherwise kept debris free.

The unit that I rent is good however you have consistently increased the rental rate on an ongoing bais!
There was a period where my unit was filled with somkind of ceiling dust and debree, I asked about it, and nothing was done?
In any case as long as I make my payments evrything is fine othe r than that I could be anywhere!
