Extra Space Storage of San Antonio, Texas gives military personnel, students, businesses and individuals a wide variety of options for the storage of anything from a few boxes, to a room full of furniture, to a boat. We are located on Culebra Road between 410 and 151, close to the Lackland Air Force Base and several universities inlcuding St. Mary's University, University of Texas at San Antonio and Lady of Our Lake University. Many military personnel, professors and students store with us either long-term or while in transition. Our facility has more than 500 self-storage units ranging in size from 3’x 5’ to 10’x 30’, some of which are climate-controlled for sensitive items. We also have 35 storage spaces for RVs, boats, trailers and other vehicles. Our knowledgeable storage specialists can help you determine the unit that fits your storage needs. Because we value our customers’ security, our facility has motion detection cameras providing 24-hour video surveillance and a manager who lives onsite. We also want to make your move easier so we’ve implemented convenient features like drive aisles wide enough for semi-trucks and DocuSign, an electronic lease that allows you to sign your rental agreement digitally. Our extended gate hours, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., are longer than most other storage facilities and allow you to access your belongings when you need them. Many of our customers enjoy our proximity to Medina River and Duck Pond and spend their free time fishing and boating as well as attending cultural and musical festivals throughout the year.
