Hurricane Sandy has been dubbed a 'Frankenstorm' - so appropriate for slamming into the eastern seacoast almost on Halloween. The storm was 1,000 miles in diameter. Waves crashed into the coast as high as 14.6 feet. Winds gusted up to 90 miles per hour. Over 19,500 airline flights were canceled. At least 17 states were affected by the storm.
