Should they have a desktop-based software? Should they use a ‘cloud-based’ technology? Should they incorporate customer relations management features in with accounting processes or would separate databases be best? And, how do they collect data and run reports so that they can use it as a basis for their business strategies? [More]

by Winnie Hsiu December 7, 2012 9:51 PM
Christmas time tends to bring out the best and worst in a lot of people. The Self Storage Industry in a Digital World

by Holly Robinson December 5, 2012 10:00 PM
Back in the early to mid-1980’s pop singer Madonna sang about how we are all living in a material world and how she was a material girl. Around a quarter of a century later her song is considered a pop classic. However, the lyrics would have to be changed if it were to be applied to today. by Tony Gonzalez December 5, 2012 6:12 PM
Throughout the years, there have been many very close elections. For example, in 1876, Rutherford B. Hayes won the electoral vote for president of the United States over Samuel J. Tilden by one vote. In 1796, John Adams won by a mere 3 electoral votes.

by John Stevens December 3, 2012 2:47 PM
Last year, fires raged across the state of Texas. Several factors led up to making it the worst fire in the state's history. First, there were record breaking temperatures. There were drought conditions throughout the state. The earth dried and cracked. Vegetation died. A tropical storm off the coast of Louisiana blew high winds which fanned the fires. Homes had been built in places where there were lots of brush and undergrowth. To top it off, the state's fire grant program was cut by two-thirds. Firefighters were understaffed with no money to pay for reinforcements. On Sunday, September 4th, nearly sixty fires started on that day alone. [More]
