If you evaluate the topics of movies, you’ll notice that there are a lot of common ones. There are super heroes, invading aliens, spies and counterspies, historical events, and love stories. However, it’s a rare thing to find a movie based on the self storage industry.

An Innovative Way to Manage the Front Desk in a Self Storage Facility

by Kim Kilpatrick July 9, 2013 8:30 PM
There are many inventions that have improved the way companies do business. Conveyor belts have significantly decreased the production time of many products. Just-in-time manufacturing reduces the need for keeping large amounts of inventory in warehouses. Self-checkout machines in grocery stores enables customers to quickly make their purchases.

Believe it or not, owners and managers of self storage facilities are leaders just as much as a CEO of a Fortune 500. They need to have some of the same skills that those CEOs need. [More]

It can be addictive. You can start watching it because there is nothing else on, and before you know it you are sucked into the daily lives of people that are just like you—they just so happen to be on television. That’s the allure of reality television for the studios and viewers, and it is something that the self storage industry has embraced. [More]
