The Store Room in England Help's Children's Charity

The Store Room in England chose the Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity as their ‘charity of the year’ for 2014. Monies collected from their fundraising events this year will go to the Rainbow Trust.

To kick of this year’s fundraising efforts, The Store Room employees are participating in the National Three Peaks Challenge. This challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks in England, Wales, and Scotland within a 24 hour time period. The three peaks are Snowdon, Scafell Pike, and Ben Nevis. [More]

Holy cow! Sometimes there’s news that makes you shake your head. Then there is news that almost makes you quake in your boots. That’s how I felt when I learned about what one man purchased in an auction of a self storage unit.

We’ve reported that there have been some very unique finds in self storage auctions. Once, there was a dead body in the casket. (That was the renter’s grandmother.) And World War II medals have been found in units that were auctioned. But yesterday’s find takes the cake. At least in my humble opinion. [More]
