21st Century Self Storage Has Modern-Day Qualities

People have always speculated what life would be like in the future. In 1910, people envisioned flying firemen and policemen (with wings on their back), robot-like barbers, an electric train from Paris to Beijing, and a phonographic machine that read the newspaper out loud to people. Other than ‘hearing’ the newspaper (via radio), none of these ideas came about.

If the pioneers in the self storage industry had ever speculated what the self storage industry would be like in 2013, they probably wouldn’t imagine some of the marvelous qualities and characteristics that the industry has today. It takes a special person to be willing to lay their life on the line for someone else. There really isn’t a bigger sacrifice that someone can make for another. In some relationships it is almost expected, i.e. parent and child.
