New Jersey Self Storage Facility Goes Green with Solar Energy

Access Self Storage announced today that it will install solar electric systems at its self storage facilities in Bernardsville, Clark, Franklin Lakes, Kenilworth, Oakland, and Woodbridge, New Jersey. Each facility will receive solar panels that can convert energy from the sun into electricity (photovoltaic panels). (Access Self Storage also has facilities in New York.) Access will begin installing the new solar power systems this summer, and expects them to be ready for use by the end of 2010. [More]

Access Self Storage Makes Donation to Texas Education

Access Self Storage, of Red Oak, Texas, announced this week that it is donating $405 to the Red Oak Independent School District Education Foundation. Access raised the money during its grand opening. The company donated a sum of money on behalf of each person who attended its grand opening. The opening was promoted as a fundraiser for the education foundation, and was advertised on KBEC radio, which tried to encourage a large turnout. [More]
