Tornadoes are dangerous things. They come out of literally nowhere, with winds often around 100 miles per hour, but sometimes as high as 300. Needless to say when they do come they tend to leave a path of destruction in their wake.Victims of that destruction often have a hard time dealing with the loss. Homes are often destroyed or damaged and cars turned upside down and tossed about. With the size that they can attain (as much as two miles across) and the suddenness in which they appear people are essentially helpless. [More]
