Vallejo City Council Approves Storage Facility

In 1980, the city of Vallejo created an industrial Park. The main purpose was for research, development, and commercial uses. At the time, access to Sonoma Boulevard and Interstate 780 were considered prime features that would entice businesses to locate in the industrial park.

In 2005, the city approved a development permit for a proposed self storage facility to be built in the industrial park on one of the last major vacant parcels of property. The facility was never built and the permits lapsed because of financing issues. [More]

It is not easy to get a law repealed or altered in the United States. In fact, it could be called an absolute pain in the behind trying to get a law updated. In a way that is good. If it was too easy to change laws we would likely be doing it all the time making it impossible to know what is up and what is down.
