Self storage owners are very community minded. They participate in events that support those in need in their community. They help charitable and non-profit organizations. They collect coats, hats, gloves, and food. They sponsor college scholarships, high school bands, singing groups, sports teams, and school libraries. One self storage facility is branching out to an unusual event is sponsoring a division of car racing.

Before a self storage owner builds a new facility, he needs to take several things into consideration. He looks at the market feasibility. Are there other self storage facilities in the area? What is the makeup of the housing market (single family homes, apartments) and the population density? Do typical homes in the area have basements or garages? Is there a need for businesses to have storage units or flexible office space? Is there a military base in the area, or a university or resort? Knowing the answers to these types of questions helps the owner to know which areas would be good to build in.

As a wordsmithie, whose tools are words, I am always fascinated with words, their definitions and their usage. I am delighted with whoever the clever person was that named a charitable event that Affordable Storage Centre in Edmonton, Canada supports.
Affordable Storage Centre has been in business for over 20 years. They have facilities in Edmonton and Sherwood Park. Their facilities are dry and rodent free (which I assume in Edmonton is critical). Their Edmonton facility accepts deliveries for their customers. In addition to the excellent facilities and customer service, they participate in charitable events. This is where the clever word usage comes in.
