Charities likely appreciate the extra attention that they have been getting for the last couple months, but are likely not looking forward to the next couple months when many people don’t feel the need to give since they just did during the holidays. For one self storage company in Atlanta, giving to charity is part of business as usual.

During the holidays months it is not uncommon for many people to give to charity. Around thanksgiving and Christmas it is just natural for people to want to give to those that are less fortunate. The only problem is that they are less fortunate all year-round, not just during the holidays.

If there was ever going to be a year where broad speculation backed up by nothing substantial was going to be accepted it would be 2012. According to the Mayan calendar the world is going to end on December 21, 2012. Plenty of theory has been presented to back up the claim, but none of it has been widely accepted (although the movie 2012 paints a pretty bleak picture).
