Manhattan Mini Storage Announces Contest Winner

by Holly Robinson January 24, 2014 4:33 PM
I love watching the TV show Extreme Makeover with designer and host Ty Pennington. I love to see how they renovate and fix up homes – and how much the less fortunate families appreciate all of the work that the Extreme Makeover team does to their home.

Following after a similar theme, Manhattan Mini Storage held an extreme apartment makeover contest. They announced that Ben Raffalli is the winner – and he’s probably just as excited about his apartment makeover as those who are on the TV show. [More]

I never win contests. Never. Then, a couple of years ago I entered one and won a two-night stay in a bed and breakfast in Carmel, California. Holy cow! The bed and breakfast was a delightful place and I had a wonderful time in Carmel.

People in the self storage industry have the opportunity to enter a contest (that is just as wonderful) and win a free trip to Las Vegas to attend the largest self storage industry expo. [More]

StorageMart Announces the Winner of "Draw My Favorite Teacher" Contest

by Tony Gonzalez December 5, 2012 6:12 PM
Throughout the years, there have been many very close elections. For example, in 1876, Rutherford B. Hayes won the electoral vote for president of the United States over Samuel J. Tilden by one vote. In 1796, John Adams won by a mere 3 electoral votes.

Similar to these close races, StorageMart recently held a contest that was extremely close. The winner led by the narrow margin of just 2 votes. Ms. Gutman of Public School 172 in Brooklyn, New York, was voted the grand prize winner of StorageMart’s contest “Draw My Favorite Teacher.” [More]

by Winnie Hsiu January 26, 2012 1:21 PM
Airplane tickets can be outrageously expensive. Hotel rooms can cost quite a bit, too. Sometimes these costs prohibit managers and owners of self storage facilities from going to the Inside Self-Storage World Expo in Las Vegas. Which is too bad. Industry events like the World Expo are very worthwhile to attend. However, this year is a little different. Participate in the contest Loving Las Vegas for a chance to win airfare, hotel stay and free access to the Expo. [More]
