Companies in today’s world have many things that they have to take into consideration when making decisions about incorporating new business management technology. Should they have the software written ‘in-house’ (employee software programmers to work for them and write the program)? Should they hire an outside technology company? Should they have a desktop-based software? Should they use a ‘cloud-based’ technology? Should they incorporate customer relations management features in with accounting processes or would separate databases be best? And, how do they collect data and run reports so that they can use it as a basis for their business strategies?

On Thursday people all over the nation will be sitting down to a huge dinner of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, rolls, cranberry sauce and so much more. As the turkey coma sets in many folks will turn on the television to watch one of the pro football games that are on where they will hope that their team is able to come out on top.

Normally whenever you here about someone or something going off the grid it’s because they are a part of some super-secret anti-government militia or because they work for the government as a secret-agent man (at least that’s how it is in the movies). There is, however, a more logical and danger-free meaning to the phrase when used outside of the cinema.

Back in February in 2012 when Brian Bremer, Director of Operations, announced that USstoragesearch.com would expand their hours of operations to be open 24/7, he stated that people searching for self storage weren’t shopping around just during the hours of 9-5. His call center saw significant web and phone traffic at all hours of the days. So, having his call center open 24/7 made sense and the extended hours would better serve those looking for storage units and those owning and operating them.
Since extending the hours, the results of around-the-clock service have exceeded US Storage Search’s expectations – and also their client’s expectations.

When it comes to Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters success is measured by ticket sales within the United States. Some do well while some bomb miserably. In both cases, it is often the international ticket sales that can make a difference saving bombs from costing the studio millions and making profitable movies even better.

When business is going good there is only one thing that you can really do and that is become better. One of the easiest ways successful companies become more successful is by becoming larger, i.e. expanding. If business is going well and it continues after you expand than you must be making more money.

There are a million and one sayings that have to do with the beauty of someone or something. People love to talk about how beauty is only skin deep and that it’s in the eye of the beholder, but the fact remains that we all know that looking good matters—especially in businesses like the self storage industry.

Several days ago, we shared an article that talked about how the self storage industry is growing in India. An Indian company that stores records for different businesses expanded their offerings and now allows individuals to store their boxed-up possessions in their record storing facility. India is not the only country where the self storage industry is growing. It is also expanding into Malaysia.
