Several years ago, I read where a cook at a hotel restaurant on Bali went way above and beyond his duties and provided exceptionally fabulous customer service.
This man was a head cook for a restaurant at a hotel on Bali. One family who made reservations to stay at the hotel had a young son who had milk allergies. The boy could only drink goat’s milk. The boy’s mother had packed his special goat milk but the airline lost their luggage and thus lost the goat’s milk. [More]

Jeff Harrington, owner of Harrington Moving & Storage in Maplewood, New Jersey, announced his participation in the 2012 Valerie Fund Walk. The Valerie Fund is a not-for-profit organization that provides support for the comprehensive health care of children with cancer and blood disorders. Harrington always stresses the importance of volunteering in the community and feels this is a great way to give back. Harrington's own son will complete his chemotherapy treatments in June. [More]

A Florida self storage operations director who also serves in the U.S. Navy reserves has received a promotion to commander in his reserve. Paul Feikema, the operations director for Hide-Away Storage of southwest Florida, is a veteran who has spent a total of 17 years in the Navy. Some of his years have been spent on active duty and others on reserve duty. Feikema was promoted by Captain Lewis Harrison, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) Deputy Engineer, at CENTCOM Headquarters, at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida.
