It's amazing to learn about all of the ways that owners and managers of self storage facilities support charitable initiatives within their community. Go Mini's in Bismarck, ND, is participating in the Christmas Playpen project. This is a work initiative project that allows minimum security inmates from the Missouri River Correctional Center to refurbish toys to be given to needy families. [More]

UK Self Storage Facility Encourages College Students to Recycle

Cardiff Self Storage, a storage facility located in the United Kingdom, has decided to participate in a campaign to encourage local college students to recycle unwanted items. The recycling campaign, called Get It Out for Cardiff, will donate clothing to the Salvation Army, and nonperishable food items to FareShare. The campaign will also benefit the British Heart Foundation and Raise and Give. So far the campaign has been a phenomenal success, raising several tons of materials to donate to local charities.
