StorageMart supports many local charities such as the Ronald McDonald House, the Habitat for Humanity, and Women in Need Inc. They also award scholarships, assist with adoption and foster care programs, and reach out and help animal shelters. Today, they started a different type of activity that supports the community surrounding their Brooklyn self storage facility. They announced a contest that benefits public schools. [More]

Today, StorageMart announced that it has joined with Charity Storage in an effort to support Women In Need Inc. (WIN). WIN serves the homeless women and children in New York City.
On Valentine’s Day in 1983, Women in Need (WIN) and the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in midtown Manhattan, opened their first emergency residence. Ten homeless women were admitted. What a sweet gift it was to these women. For almost 30 years, Women in Need has provided homeless women (and their children) with safe, clean housing and support for the women to develop skills to become self-reliant. [More]

Have you seen the movie “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World?” It premiered in 1963 and was about a madcap adventure of a group of people frantically searching for $350,000 of stolen money. Hope is a valuable commodity, yet it is one that is impossible to put a price tag on. Ask anyone on a diet and they’ll likely say they hope to use some weight; most diets fail when people lose hope.
