Self Storage Profit Formula Named Top Self Storage Marketing Company

by Tony Gonzalez May 8, 2014 11:41 PM
A business—self storage and otherwise--can’t succeed if no one knows it exists. It would be kind of hard for a store to rent or sell whatever its product is, and it would be hard for a self storage facility to find occupants for its units. To do so stores, self storage facilities, and other companies have to do one thing—engage in a little marketing. [More]

People in the state of Texas are proud of their state. You can tell just in how they talk about it and how they react when you go against the popular slogan—Don’t Mess With Texas—and do just that. Another popular slogan is one that executives for one self storage company are hoping rings true: Everything’s bigger in Texas. [More]

Time is something we can never have enough of. Between work, the kids, social lives, and hobbies it can be hard to find the time to do everything we want and need to do—so something has to be sacrificed. Get Started Using Google+

by Kim Kilpatrick May 2, 2014 4:32 PM

I also read that it’s rather hard to describe. That is because what you “see” is heavily influenced by your expectations and experiences. Have you seen the ink blot that could be viewed either as a young woman (dressed in the 1800s styled clothing) or an old hag with a wart on her nose? No one likes to work hard if they don’t have to. If doing A, B, and C can get the job done right over doing A, B, C, D, and E people will go with the former rather than the latter. It’s only logical and holds true in the business world—self storage and otherwise—as well as in social settings and daily life. [More]

Demand for Self Storage Continues to Grow

by Kim Kilpatrick April 28, 2014 11:47 PM
With the economy performing well according to Wall Street you might think that the self storage industry may not be as needed as before. When it was failing people were forced to downsize and needed somewhere to store their belongings while they tried to get back on their feet. Now that the economy is back and growing will that still be the case? [More]

It’s All About Traffic in the Self Storage Industry

by John Stevens April 25, 2014 6:54 PM
Traffic can be both good and bad—it all depends on the type. If you are trying to get home from work than the traffic on the freeway is definitely bad. If you run a website than traffic is definitely a good thing. Businesses inside of a shopping mall are fond of foot traffic. [More]
