There are many inventions that have improved the way companies do business. Conveyor belts have significantly decreased the production time of many products. Just-in-time manufacturing reduces the need for keeping large amounts of inventory in warehouses. Self-checkout machines in grocery stores enables customers to quickly make their purchases.

Inventions in the self storage industry have also impacted the way business is done. Xpress Storage (which is owned by Hide-Away Storage LLC) has just opened its second facility that uses a kiosk as the front desk ‘manager.’ The concept of having a kiosk focuses on customer convenience.
