Remember the scene in Hamlet where two gravediggers argue whether or not Ophelia should be buried in a churchyard since her death looks like a suicide? Hamlet comes along and wonders about the skulls that they dig up to make room for a fresh grave. Hamlet then picks up a skull and the gravedigger says that it is the skull of Yorick. Whereupon Hamlet says, “Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him. Fellow of infinite jest.” The findings in a recent self storage auction in Tennessee reminded me of this scene from this Shakespearean play. Have you seen before and after pictures of flowers that have been fertilized by Miracle-Gro? The before plants are scrawny and pathetic looking. The after pictures show lush plants with thick foliage and brilliant blooms. If there was a Miracle-Gro for the self storage industry, somebody must have sprinkled some on the Storage Pros Self Storage portfolio. Storage Pros is growing into a 'lush and beautiful' portfolio.

The property should have between 60,000 to 120,000 net rentable square feet. They should be primarily in the Sun Belt markets and have a strong demographic. Self Storage Lien Law Legislation Moves Along in Ten States With Latest Victory in Illinois

The latest victory is Senate Bill 1394 (SB 1394) that will modernize the Illinois Self Service Storage Facility Act. Tennessee Governor Signs New Lien Law For Self Storage Businesses
