It would be nice if all it took to succeed in business was to be good at what you do. The reality of the matter is that no matter how good you are at your chosen profession, if no one knows about or sees what you can do than it just does not matter. That is essentially why the self storage industry and other businesses advertise.

Everyone is aware of what guilt by association is. Hang around the wrong crowd that gets involved in illegal things and you’ll be guilty right along with them whether you did anything or not. The same holds true for a positive affiliation. Politicians are quick to jump on board of popular legislation as co-sponsors in the hopes that they will get a little good press from the affiliation.

People have different points of view when it comes to going to trade shows. Some go to learn new things from the seminars and presentations. Others go to network among people within the same business industry. For some trade shows are a just a chance to get out of the house for a few days.However, there is one thing that everyone can agree they are interested in when it comes to conferences. Who are the speakers going to be?
