Many owners and managers of self storage facilities participate in charitable projects to help out members in their community who are less fortunate than others. They collect toys at Christmas time, establish reading rooms, and hold yard sales and give the proceeds to a children's hospital. Stow-A-Way Mini Storage in Sandy, Oregon, is no exception and is reaching out and helping a toddler in their community.

It seems like wherever you go and no matter what you are shopping for there is likely going to be a discount of some kind being offered. No matter what you are selling, there is some way for it to be discounted. The art of discounting a product—if done properly-- can mean an awful lot to your bottom line whether you’re talking about a department store, a grocery store, or the local self storage facility.

Auctions have been a fact of life at self storage facilities for some time. Thanks to the poor economy, the occupancy rates for the self storage industry on the whole are fairly good. However, at the same time, there are plenty of people that are having trouble paying their bills.

Typically, whenever a movie spawns a sequel they are not as good as the original; it is just too hard for a concept to be as interesting and fresh the second time around as it was the first. It’s like the second slice of pizza relative to the first. You are still happy to eat it, but it doesn’t bring you as much joy as the first.
