EZ Storage wants to build a new facility in Royal Oak, Michigan. Only there's one slight problem. The piece of property that they are looking at isn't zone to allow a self storage facility there. So, the owners of EZ Storage went to the city's planning commission and asked for it to be changed to conditional zoning.

Everyone has a first time that they will never forget. For many it’s the first time they ever drove a car. Kids will remember the first time they ever had a candy bar. College graduates will never forget their first job or their first car. On a personal level first times can make us exciting, nervous, and sometimes even scared. Self storage units are meant to help people. Typically the idea is to help them clear space in their homes or offices by providing them with some much needed space, but they have been known to help in other ways too. If used right they can help you become an elite athlete.

A recent article in the Washington Post indicated several signs that the economy in the United States is still slowly recovering. Because home foreclosures have dropped, the housing market is moving and sales are up. Loans have been repaid. Personal finances have improved. People are more willing to eat out, shop, or go on a vacation. Businesses are expanding. And Storage Post self storage is part of the upward swing in the economy.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again. Owners and managers of self storage facilities are very charity minded. They do all that they can to support their communities and charitable organizations. StorageMart in Missouri is a perfect example of such benevolent work.

In this digital world, you would think that businesses wouldn’t have to keep paper copies of their documents. In fact, many companies work toward creating a paperless office. Sad to say, for many others a paperless office isn’t feasible. Some government regulations require that paper documents be kept for four years. Some regulations require businesses to keep records for up to 10 years.

Everyone absolutely loves something, be it a person, place, or thing. It’s only natural. There are some things that people in general tend to love. We like to have them, experience, them, live them; we might not want to always admit it, but it’s true. One self storage company—in its own special way-- wants to do its part to give people some of those things.
