by Tony Gonzalez January 29, 2014 11:23 PM
Just about everything comes in all shapes and sizes. It used to be that mobile phones nearly required a purse all their own; not they fit so well in our pockets we forget we have them sometimes. "Clear that Clutter" Sweepstake Sponsored by SpareFoot

by Holly Robinson November 21, 2013 4:27 PM
Years ago, my aunt read a book called Clutter’s Last Stand by Don Aslett. She loved that book because it helped her figure out ways to de-junk and de-clutter her home. SpareFoot in Austin, Texas, is providing impetus (like the book did for my aunt) to help people ‘clear that clutter’ from their home.

SpareFoot is sponsoring a ‘Clear that Clutter’ sweepstakes to help consumers win the war against their stuff that is stuffed all over their home and garage. People can enter the sweepstakes from now until December 15. The winner of the sweepstakes will get up to six months’ worth of storage from SpareFoot in the form of a $500 Visa gift card. [More]

Whenever we are able to join two things together—you know, kill two birds with one stone—it is typically a good thing. It can never hurt to get two things done when you would normally get just one. The concept does take some coordination and effort, but all good things do, right? Ask members of the self storage industry and most will likely answer ’yes.’ [More]

Life is full of tons of experiences from little ones like enjoying a really good ice cream cone to bigger ones like getting your driver’s license. Everyone remembers things in their own special way. by Winnie Hsiu April 23, 2013 10:20 PM
Everyone absolutely loves something, be it a person, place, or thing. It’s only natural. There are some things that people in general tend to love. We like to have them, experience, them, live them; we might not want to always admit it, but it’s true. One self storage company—in its own special way-- wants to do its part to give people some of those things. [More]

by Tony Gonzalez April 9, 2013 6:06 PM
The toughest part about any business—self storage or otherwise—is not getting ready to open. It’s engaging people and getting them to walk through the door. Companies will spend thousands and some millions of dollars in elaborate advertising campaigns, but many in the self storage industry like to try a simpler route. They just hold a contest. [More]
