New Self Storage Facility Opens in Miami

On the heels of its twentieth anniversary this year, Safeguard Self Storage, a national provider of self storage solutions, just cut the ribbon on its sixth operating location in the Miami market. This self storage facility, located in Miami’s Coconut Grove neighborhood in Miami-Dade County, (just off US 1), will supplement southern Florida's growing demand for self storage space.Tampa markets, with amenities ranging from climate-controlled units (fully heated and air conditioned) to video-recorded surveillance of the property, and individual door alarms on each unit.

Headquartered in Atlanta, Safeguard Self Storage was originally founded in New Orleans in 1989, and now over 55 self storage facility locations throughout the United States, including FL, IL, LA, NJ, NY, PA and VA.

In response to the new facility opening, Safeguard Self Storage Divisional Vice President Randy Correll stated that this new location is designed to provide an exceptional customer experience, and that Safeguard’s facilities, in general, offer unique and personalized service to their clients.

Carlos Miranda, District Manager for Extra Space Storage in Florida (whose company has 68 self storage facilities in the state; 18 in Miami-Dade County) commented on his competitor’s new location opening in Florida. "The Florida market – Miami-Dade County, specifically, is a rapidly expanding market for those of us in self storage.
