The industry’s largest trade show is about to begin in Las Vegas from March 14th through the 16th. The ISS World Expo not only offers seminars, workshops and peer-to-peer networking as part of its education program, but also provides an opportunity for more than 150 vendors to exhibit their self storage products and services.
Many eagerly await the opportunity to meet with vendors who answer questions and demo their wares. The shows exhibits will be open at the Paris Hotel & Resort on March 15, noon to 5 p.m. and March 16, 9 a.m. to noon.
Product categories include self storage building components, security products, management software, third-party online directories, loan products, marketing services, consulting services, retail merchandise, brokerage services, and much more. This year’s exhibit hall features a record number of new exhibitors—22 in all. Among those new to the scene are G5 Marketing, Payment Processing Inc., American Access Systems Inc., PureRFid Inc., Virtus Real Estate and Mace Security Products.
“Attendees should take advantage of the exhibit hall to meet with current suppliers, shop competition and learn from the experts about new products and services that can—and will—better the bottom line of their businesses,” said Danica Cullins, director of ISS event sales. “An opportunity to have these important live discussions all in one place is duplicated nowhere else.”
While vendors are also a great source of knowledge, the World Expo will also feature experts who will run seminars and workshops on a variety of topics. The Expo will feature a number of learning opportunities for self storage operators, managers and investors. Four education tracks will be running, covering everything from online marketing, lien sales, solar panels and the new SBA loans. Registration ends March 11.
Also offered is the Self-Storage Q&A following the first day of seminars. The interactive event is led by industry veterans Mel Holsinger and Jim Chiswell. The Q&A is an opportunity to ask industry people about anything of relevance to self storage. It is anticipated that storage auctions due to the popularity of the hit series “Storage Wars” will be a hot topic of conversation.
