Danielle Toms and Michael Hopper of Mindful Management LLC will present a webinar "Innovative and Online Marketing for Single or Multi-Store Operators" for the members of the Florida Self Storage Association. It will be held November 15, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. eastern standard time.
Many small or one facility self storage owners do not have the resources to hire a full-time marketing professional. Because Mindful Management is a Florida-based organization that owns and manages self storage facilities in Florida, they are very cognizant of the marketing problems small storage facilities face. The Florida Self Storage Association (FSSA) has partnered with Mindful Management and will offer this seminar free to FSSA members.
Toms is the vice president of business development for Mindful Management. She has developed innovative marketing strategies for her company. She is also an alternate board member for the FSSA and is a graduate of the University of Florida.
Hopper is the vice president of operations and oversees the day-to-day operations of the company's ten southern regional facilities. He also helps to develop new marketing strategies. He has over 20 years of management experience with an emphasis in the restaurant industry and is a graduate of the University of Houston.
The webinar will cover:
- marketing activities that will yield instant rentals and appointments
- asking the right questions
- the importance of knowing how to market your business online
- information to look for
- why maintaining footwork is important
Several other topics will be discussed. They will explain Google Analytics which is a method of collecting and analyzing data about traffic on a website. They will discuss search-engine optimization (SEO) which is the process of writing webpage content so the page can easily be found by search engines. They will talk about SEO strategies and pay-per-click campaigns.
