Extra Space Storage is proud to announce the 2021 There’s Space for Everyone Scholarship. This scholarship is designed to provide opportunity and improve educational access for both current and incoming college students.
We see that the leaders of tomorrow are not afraid to challenge authority and the status quo to make the world a fairer and more inclusive place for all people, no matter their race, gender, physical ability, ethnicity, national origin, nationality, religion, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or age.
We want to amplify these voices and make it easier for the leaders of tomorrow to make a difference and achieve their goals with the 2021 There’s Space for Everyone Scholarship. We will award a total of four $2,500 scholarships to students who demonstrate a desire to make their communities a better place for everyone. Two of the $2,500 scholarships will go to employees or immediate family members of Extra Space Storage.
Students are eligible to apply for a $2,500 scholarship if they’re:
- Enrolled in an accredited college or university for the fall 2021 semester. Incoming students and current undergraduate and graduate students are all encouraged to apply.
- Legal residents of the United States.
- At least 16 years old.
We realize that a resume isn’t always the best judge of all a person has to offer their community. This scholarship is not a need- or achievement-based scholarship. Instead, we’re challenging those who want to shape their communities to tell us in 500 words how they’ll utilize their education and experiences to make their community a more equal, inclusive place for all people.
It’s our goal to help these global thinkers access education and opportunities that they’ll funnel back into their local communities to promote inclusivity and equality.
