Extra Space Storage is excited to announce the opening of a new facility located at 328 Center Point Rd in San Marcos, TX. This facility is operated in partnership with Sterling Investors, a privately held Investment firm based in New York, who acquired the property.
“We’re excited to open another store in our partnership with Extra Space,” shared David Rain, Vice President at Sterling Investors. “This is our fifth store together in the central Texas region. San Marcos is a high-growth area with Texas State University nearby.”
The new site offers a cutting-edge storage solution that is 100% climate-controlled, keeping stored items at optimal conditions, no matter the weather outside. This facility boasts 702 storage units and covers 73,477 net rentable square feet, with unit sizes ranging from a compact 5x5 to a spacious 10x30, catering to a broad range of storage needs. The strategic location near Texas State University leverages a vibrant population and local community.
Our local team, led by District Manager Sandy Reiling, worked hard to ensure the store was operational in time for the grand opening. “When we received the approval for opening on March 8, we jumped for joy,” shared Reiling. “We had customers waiting to rent and 40 unit reservations to follow up on when we opened the doors. I’m proud of Store Manager Morris Roos and Assistant Manager Nicole Reuter for their hard work in getting the space cleaned and units tagged and ready to rent!”
