Each month at Extra Space Storage, we recognize employees who go above and beyond in caring for our customers with our Customer Care Award. We’re happy to announce Alyssa Winters as the October 2020 recipient.
Winters, a Store Manager in Albuquerque, sets an exceptional customer service example by taking extra time to accommodate all customers and their various needs. She received this note from a customer who appreciated a little extra care when completing their rental recently.

Winters is known throughout her district as a leader and has consistently shown she cares for, appreciates, and informs our customers while maintaining a COVID-safe facility. Winters’ District Manager, Josh Silva, shared that multiple long-term customers have taken the time to write in personal letters to express their gratitude for Winters as their store manager. Each letter shares a different story, but all mention Winters’ dedication to her job, her impressive knowledge of the self storage industry, and her ability to create personal relationships with her customers by genuinely listening to their needs and finding the appropriate solution.
