Extra Space Storage Recognizes John Andrews & Lizette Salgado with Customer Care Award

Each month, Extra Space Storage recognizes employees who go above and beyond in caring for our customers with our Customer Care Award. We’re happy to announce John Andrews and Lizette Salgado as the May 2024 recipients.

John Andrews, Store Manager

Store Manager John Andrews cares for customers through his responsiveness, follow-through, and knowledge of storage. Navigating billing questions can be challenging, but John’s professionalism, genuine care, and thorough understanding of the subject wins over customers by arming them with the information they need.

From an Extra Space Storage customer: “I want to give a million thanks to John at the Neptune location. I went in to pay my monthly bill and inquired about rates and changes. John was kind enough to explain in detail how the rates work, looked into my situation, and provided a response as soon as I got home. All my questions and concerns were addressed in a courteous and professional manner, and John was extremely helpful. I plan on being a long-term renter at this facility. I’m thankful for the customer service and for the peace of mind knowing that my treasured belongings are safe and sound in this facility.”

Lizette Salgado, Cusotmer Service Representative

Lizette Salgado, a Customer Service Representative at the National Solution Center, brings a friendly demeanor to every customer interaction. Her proactive approach ensures that each customer begins their rental experience with ease. Her commitment to going above and beyond is appreciated by both customers and leaders alike.

From an Extra Space Storage customer: “The representative was very pleasant, quick to act, and had all of the information in front of them. Lizzie talked directly to the local facility for me and was very proactive. The service was top-notch!”

From Extra Space Storage Team Lead Kent Barns: “Lizzie has been a positive force to not only her team but to the National Solutions Center service department as a whole. Her positivity shows in her calls and daily interactions with customers. Lizzie has done such a great job in the service roles she’s held, ranging from digital assist, email, and supervisor to name a few. Lizzie lives the Extra Space core values every day, and we are proud to recognize her for this award.”
