  • Noah Springer EVP,
    Chief Strategy and Partnership Officer

    Noah joined Extra Space Storage in 2006, after several years in the banking industry. His initial responsibility was to acquire the third-party managed contracts from the newly acquired Storage USA portfolio. After working with many managed partners, and negotiating agreements for Extra Space Storage to begin operating their sites, Noah helped create ManagementPlus, the third-party management platform. Under Noah’s leadership, ManagementPlus became the sector’s largest third-party managed portfolio just three years after its formation.

    In addition to overseeing ManagementPlus, Noah oversees the Asset Management and Construction Departments at Extra Space. This includes all value-add projects, commercial revenues and joint ventures.

    Noah has a Finance degree and an MBA from the University of Utah. Noah, a self-proclaimed "farm boy" from Illinois, lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with his wife and three children.

  • Eric Bishop-Berry Vice President,
    Third-Party Management

    Eric Bishop-Berry joined Extra Space Storage in 2014, with the initial responsibility of managing day to day activities with large third-party management accounts. Eric has since transitioned to focusing his efforts on the continued growth of EXR’s management platform. In particular, Eric devotes his time to actively growing EXR’s management of newly developed self-storage facilities.

    Eric has his Master of Real Estate from Texas A&M University and B.S. in Environmental Planning from Plymouth State University. Prior to EXR Storage, Eric worked in the Salt Lake City office of CBRE. Eric, a New Hampshire native, lives in Salt Lake City, Utah and enjoys fly fishing and skiing.

  • Aaron Lubeck Director,
    Third-Party Management

    Aaron Lubeck joined Extra Space in 2014 after several years in commercial banking and consulting. His initial role at Extra Space was in the acquisitions group where he valued self storage assets and worked to negotiate and purchase self storage properties to bring into EXR’s portfolio. Aaron now focuses his efforts to grow EXR’s management portfolio and provide value to partners.

    Mr. Lubeck has an undergraduate degree in finance from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. Aaron lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with his wife and son. Other than storage, Aaron enjoys biking, soccer, and spending time with family.

  • Dylan Taylor Director,
    Third-Party Management

    Dylan Taylor joined Extra Space Storage in 2015 as the Manager of Strategic Partnerships. He currently serves as the point of contact for large third-party management groups and institutional investors. Before joining Extra Space, Dylan worked in property management for 8 years, most recently as a General Manager at a large multifamily complex. Prior to that he was an Assistant General Manager at a luxury ski development in Park City, UT. Through these positions Dylan has gained significant experience in asset management, budgeting and capital improvement projects.

    Dylan graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelors in Public Relations and minor in Japanese. He currently lives in Salt Lake City with his beautiful wife and two children. He enjoys dirt bikes, snowboarding and having fun in the outdoors with his family.

  • Chris Harden Director,
    Third-Party Management

    Chris joined Extra Space Storage in 2009 as a Store Manager. He spent 10 years in Operations where he worked his way from a Store Manager to a Senior District Manager. During his time with Extra Space, he has operated self-storage in 12 different states on the East coast and Midwest where he was responsible for overall district performance including areas such as customer service, staffing, KPI metrics, revenue and expense budgeting. His time in Operations also lead to a wide range of experience in operational issues such as HR, Capital improvements, burglaries, and natural disasters. That experience translated perfectly into a role with the ManagementPlus team which he accepted in 2020; Being promoted to lead the Partner Services Group on the ManagementPlus team, supporting all third-party management relationships at Extra Space.

    Chris and his wife are both from Annapolis, MD and recently had their first child – a baby boy! In his free time, Chris loves being active. He runs, hikes, golfs, and will play (or watch) any sport.

  • Tyler Cichos Senior Regional Manager,
    Third-Party Management

    Tyler joined the Extra Space ManagementPlus team in the summer of 2020. Prior to joining Extra Space, Tyler spent 9 years in the financial industry in different capacities with the most recent being in the commercial segment.

    He currently lives in Salt Lake City, Utah alongside his wife and two children. Tyler enjoys spending time with his family, attending any sporting event, and will take any opportunity to spend time on a golf course.

  • Maria Avellana Director, Joint Venture,
    Third-Party Management

    Maria joined Extra Space Storage in 2015, after several years in commercial real estate. She initially served as District Manager in several markets including Las Vegas, Phoenix, Albuquerque, and Denver. Her primary focus during her tenure as District Manager focused on leadership, mentoring and financial analysis. In 2019, she took on the role as Third Party Sr. Manager and moved to Salt Lake City. Her storage experience started in 2011 as a District Manager in the Las Vegas market for SmartStop Self-Storage. Prior to her career in the self-storage industry, her career in commercial real estate started in 2003 focusing in multi-housing assets serving different roles as a licensed real estate agent managing acquisition and dispositions of assets to regional multi-family management.

    Maria's operational, financial and partner relations experience helped her smooth transition in her role as Director of Joint Ventures, her primary focus is to serve as the liaison between joint venture partners and Extra Space. In her role, she also manages other alternative.

    Maria attended Skyline College for Business Management. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her son.

  • Stewart Handley Analyst, Joint Venture,
    Third-Party Management

    Stewart joined Extra Space Storage in October 2022 as an analyst in Joint Ventures. Stewart has worked in real estate for several years and before his time with Extra Space worked at David Weekley Homes as a Land Acquisition Analyst. Stewart recently completed the Master of Real Estate Development at the University of Utah and is now pursuing an MBA at the University of Utah. In his free time, Stewart enjoys watching and playing sports, traveling, camping, and spending time with his wife and son.

  • Spencer Graves Senior Regional Manager,
    Third-Party Management

    Spencer joined Extra Space Storage in 2015 as a Revenue Analyst. During his time with revenue management, Spencer managed and implemented rates and strategy for all new stores, and worked with Division Vice Presidents to drive revenue on the West coast. In November 2020, his experience in revenue management and his strong relationship skills led him to a promotion where he now works as a Manager for the Third-Party Management team.

    Spencer married his high school crush, and has 2 daughters and 1 son. In his spare time, Spencer enjoys skiing, dirt biking, mountain biking, and racquetball.

  • Landon Watkins Analyst,
    Third-Party Management

    Landon joined Extra Space Storage Third-Party Management team as an analyst in the summer of 2021. Prior to joining Extra Space Storage, he worked for Goldman Sachs in their Investment Banking and Global Markets Divisions. He helps provide financial analysis for many of our valued partners, while supporting the Third-Party Managers.

    Landon received a B.S. in Economics from the University of Utah. He was born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT.

  • Hannah Dorff Senior Regional Manager,
    Third-Party Relationships

    Hannah joined Extra Space in 2020 after several years in the Hospitality industry and joined the Management Plus team in the Fall of 2021. During her time in the Hospitality industry, Hannah focused on Revenue Management and Group Sales and Events in different cities across the United States.

    Hannah graduated from the University of Utah with an MBA and Brigham Young University with an undergraduate degree in Recreational Management. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys snowboarding, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.

  • Spencer Johnson Analyst,
    Third-Party Management

    Spencer joined Extra Space in March 2022 as an Analyst on the Third-Party Management team. Spencer assesses value of existing and new development opportunities by performing underwriting and market analysis for prospective ventures.

    Spencer graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor’s in Finance and Minor in Real Estate in May 2022. He has a passion for real estate, and loves all things sports. Spends his free time on the golf course with friends and being with his wife and Goldendoodle.

  • Carolyn Potter Senior Regional Manager,
    Third-Party Management

    Carolyn joined Extra Space Storage in 2014. She spent 7 years in Accounting, where she worked her way from Property Accountant to Accounting Manager. Prior to her career in storage, she spent several years in Southern California in the home furnishings industry. In January 2022, her experience in customer service led her to join the Third-Party Management team as a Manager.

    Carolyn currently lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with her husband and fur children. In her spare time, Carolyn enjoys spending time with family, gardening, running, and traveling.

  • Shon Bennett Analyst,
    Third-Party Management

    Shon is one of the newest members to the Third-Party Management team, joining as an analyst at the start of Q2 2022. While new to the team, Shon has actually been with Extra Space since 2010, in the field as a District Team Lead. Shon welcomed the opportunity to bring his decade+ years’ worth of Operational knowledge and experience to the Management Plus team. As an analyst, Shon helps to provide financial analysis to our valued 3rd party partners, support to the 3rd Party managers as well as facilitate off-budget requests from the site teams in the field.

    Shon is originally from Connecticut, and has lived there, New York, Massachusetts, North Carolina, South Carolina and now Utah all with Extra Space. He is a die-hard all-around sports fan, but basketball is his main true love.
