This storage facility is terrific! It is by far the cleanest we have ever used. We have often seen the caretakers working to keep it spotless while we are there. The A/C system works very well, keeping it cool and comfortable. This was surprising to me, as we once used a different climate controlled facility in the past where we literally sweated inside. The most outstanding feature of this place is the wonderfully friendly and accommodating staff! Wow, they made our experience easy and an absolute pleasure, including the process of ending our rental when it was time for us to move! Terrific all around!

Erika was super friendly and helpful

Erika made it a very easy, quick process to store our RV. The lot is clean and very easy to navigate and the monthly rent is competitive with other locations. This location was recommended by two couples who are friends and have stored their RVs for several years. We are happy to pass the recommendation forward!

Erika was very helpful in finding another unit that was close to the one we already had, and she was also very helpful in letting us know what our options were if we decide to rent long or short term with the second unit. She is very pleasant to work with.

Erika is very nice! She is friendly and professional. Moving cross-country is a very stressful experience. Having to put your belongings into a storage unit for an unknown length of time while you do it is 10 times as hard. Erika was understanding and made me feel very comfortable with my storage choice! I highly recommend anyone needing a storage unit give Erika a call! You will not regret it!

OMG I just wanna start out saying that Erica was the only reason I went ahead and decided 2 rent a unit here. She was AMAZING. This was my 1st time having 2 rent a storage and she helped me find the one I needed without making me feel pressured. She was VERY friendly and because of her CUSTOMER SERVICE, they will always have me as a customer as long as I need space. I DEFINITELY recommend this place.

We happened to pass by and I called to see if they had an available unit. They did! Walked inside and Erika helped us look at some units. I gotta say we’ve been looking for a couple of months for a unit and I’m glad we found Extra Space. Erika made it super easy to get it leased. She was friendly and funny. We had a great little visit while leasing the unit. I’ve used this location awhile back before it was Extra Space and I gotta say the remodel that they did is amazing! Units are air conditioned and super clean. Top it off with great customer service. I’m glad we stopped. Thanks Erika!!!

We rented a unit in the middle of Covid, but they made it easy! We are now moving and emptying out our unit, and I didn’t give them the notice I wanted to. But since my payment was just made yesterday, they gave me a refund! I just want to give a special shout out to Erika, who helped us today. I overheard her talking on the phone to another customer, and she is so polite and professional! Will definitely recommend extra space for anyone needing a storage space!

I visited multiple Extra Space locations, finally settling upon this one (4550 E Southern in Mesa). Both asst. mgr. Holly and site manager Erika were helpful, patient, and friendly, wanting me to be sure about my decision. Erika took plenty of time to show me my options and answer my many questions, even providing a water bowl for my dog in the office. She was honest and straightforward, not afraid to tell me about potential price increases, as well as being careful not to overpromise on certain aspects of renting the unit - which I appreciated. It would only be fair to mention one other site's manager, Anastasia (at 448 Greenfield RD in Mesa), who was very professional, patient, and friendly, who actually found the price for Erika's unit online, suggesting I visit the other office due to the great value offered. I would likely have rented from Anastasia, had the unit at Erika's location not been available. Overall, Extra Space has various locations, knowledgable and helpful staff, and generally well maintained facilities. I've rented in another state, before this move to AZ, and hope to continue finding my experiences to be positive.
