I am beyond disappointed with Extra Space Storage. When my son signed up before leaving on military deployment, he was explicitly assured that his rate would not be continually raised while he was gone. That promise turned out to be completely false. In under 12 months, my son has received THREE separate price increases. Three. While he is deployed and physically unable to move his belongings. What makes this worse is that Saul and the other employees at this location know full well that my son is not here and cannot simply move his stuff elsewhere, yet the rate hikes keep coming anyway. It feels intentionally predatory. After reading through other reviews, it’s clear this is not an isolated issue. There are numerous comments from other customers complaining about constant, unjustified price hikes after signing up at a much lower rate. This appears to be a deliberate bait-and-switch business model: lure customers in with a reasonable price, then repeatedly jack up the rate once they’re locked in. Targeting customers who are deployed, traveling, or otherwise unable to relocate their belongings is shameful. Extra Space Storage should be embarrassed by how they conduct business, especially toward military families. I would strongly caution anyone considering this company to read the reviews carefully and get everything in writing — because verbal assurances clearly mean nothing here.

They will double or triple your rates within the first year. I appreciate the response from the owner - but you increased my rate from $112 to $195 and now you are increasing it to $292. I haven’t been there for 9 months and you are almost tripling the rate already. I don’t even know how it’s legal to treat people that way. I can rent a new 20x10 with drive up access on your website for less than this little 10x10. This really isn’t cool at all.
