We needed a unit after the hurricane. They were friendly and helpful when we rented and same as we emptied our unit. The facility was always clean and well maintained. If I ever need storage again, I will seek out Extra Space Storage.

This is hands down the worst storage facility I have ever dealt with. They constantly raise your rent! Not once, not reasonably, but over and over again within the same year. The increases are huge, and they don’t clearly communicate them. At one point, I was even told that if I left a positive review, I could keep my current rate temporarily until they raised it again, which says everything you need to know about how this place operates. I paid extra for a climate-controlled unit specifically to protect my belongings, yet when I moved out after roughly two years, multiple pieces of furniture had water damage and were completely warped and ruined. To make matters worse, there were LIVE roaches and droppings inside my boxes. Paying premium prices only to have your belongings destroyed and contaminated is unacceptable. This facility is overpriced, poorly maintained, and dishonest in how they handle customers. If you care about your belongings or your money, I strongly recommend choosing literally any other storage option.
