Casen, the manager at the Reed Canal location in Port Orange Beach, is an exceptional manager who provides outstanding customer service. He has helped me twice, by phone and in person. His calm, professional manner, combined with his warm personality and excellent listening skills could help anyone who is dealing with moving stress. He found me the best deal, solved a complex problem, and communicated effectively. His facility is clean, and the location is convenient and picturesque. I am happy with this company, and the staff, and especially with Casen. Katrina is also an exceptional storage specialist, and a pleasure. She is thorough, polite, engaging and vibrant. I enjoyed my experience with Extra Storage.

Staff was great! Facility was great! Their policy had zero ability to accommodate a reasonable delivery/load/pickup from PODs. I had to have all my stuff loaded into a truck and moved to another location that would accommodate the three day POD turn around. Very disappointed in that company policy. Policy is: POD can only be onsite 24 hours. POD can only be in parking spaces. At this facility, parking spaces were in the front of the building, storage unit access was at the back of the big building. PODs only gives times a day ahead, so committing to a 24 hour window was impossible. Great facility except for this.

We understand that the 24-hour limitation for PODs being onsite created significant challenges for you, especially given that PODs only provide delivery times a day ahead, making it difficult to commit to such a tight window. We also recognize that having the parking spaces located at the front of the building, while storage unit access is at the back of the building, added another layer of complexity to your moving process. We're sorry that our current policy regarding PODs only being allowed in parking spaces and the 24-hour onsite restriction resulted in you having to arrange additional truck loading and relocation to another facility to accommodate the three-day POD turnaround you needed. I have no problem with the facility itself. Very clean. Nice staff. “BUT”. The fact that they make you purchase a special cam lock to fit their door ticks me off. I’ll never use this lock again as will I never rent from Extra Space Storage again.
