Unfortunately it's very icy and slippery. Asked multiple employees to salt but no one ever did. It's an accident waiting to happen.

I'm not sure about my experience with them as yet. I just found out the previous owners who I rented from at this storage place for 11yrs are no longer there. How I found this out I was to pay my mthly rent & could not get in touch with anyone for a week. I didn't know what was going on did the place no longer exist?? I no longer live in the area but, have kept this storage facility bcuz of no issues. I go periodically to check on my property but, not as often. Frantically I was calling around to see if I could find out anything on the place. Not knowing who to contact since their phones recording said no one available try calling later. I'm calling around & no one knew, not the city of Joliet, not any news reports so, yes I was getting concerned. I was heading to the area & decided I would physically go & check on my storage unit. Walked in a guy named Mark asked what he could help me with, I told him my dilemma & asked what was going on? He told me it's under new management & things were progressing slowly but, they were trying to get things straightened out. I said well my rent is due on my unit & how was I to get a hold of anyone & no one contacted me about this change. He of course apologized numerous times & said we needed to do an updated rental lease & gave me the new contact information. I guess it was a good thing I stopped by!! Also, I met Brett the manager of the storage place & another guy Allen. Although they made it an easy transfer it was stressful not knowing if anything had happened to the place. Although I feel it should have been handled differently I understand the transition of changing ownership & figuring things out can be difficult. So as of now, I gave a 5 star rating will see if they will hold up to that from here on out. Thank you.
