I’ve been using extra space storage for a little over a year now to store equipment for a business that I have. Last week I had gone there to get some of my equipment and realized the following evening that I had taken a piece of equipment out of the unit, but forgot to put it in my car. When I called in with little hope that I’d be getting it back, Carol and Robert beat me to it with a description of what I had accidentally left out. Extra space is great! The facility is always clean, the music is great and I know now that if I’m forgetful and accidentally leave something out, Carol and Robert have got my back!

I was surprised about the recent increase in the cost of my storage space subscription, which has doubled in price without any prior notification. I was not informed in advance of this change by email, account notification, or any other form of communication. A price increase of this magnitude should be clearly communicated ahead of time so customers can make informed decisions about continuing or adjusting their subscription.
