Although there is a frustration with one of the over head garage doors being out of service, that stuff is going to happen. So I cannot deduct any stats for that. I can say, the online rentals process was easy, the unit was ready immediately, the staff was helpful when I couldn't figure out the lock (user error) and the facility is very clean. I am leaving another local storage facility due to a huge price difference. Loving the value here.

We have been with Extra Storage Space for a couple of years now and we are very content. The ready available units have made it easy to rent and use. We love the size variety of the units as well. We started off with a bigger unit but then downsized to a smaller unit and it was nice to find another unit within the building to transfer to. Recently, I lost my keys to my current unit and Deb was really helpful in assisting me with getting it open with a new lock. I know it’s her job, but it was really nice for her to drop what she was doing to help me with my dilemma. I have a lot of respect and appreciation for what she has to do when a tenant needs a lock taken off the unit due to the loss of the keys to that unit. Thanks, Deb!!

The customer service at the Extra Space Maple Grove location is excellent. I had a minor miscommunication when trying to sign up for a unit online and Deb was very helpful in resolving the issue. I would definitely recommend this service and location to others.

I like the facility and wanted to stay, but after receiving a notice of a price increase, AGAIN, I moved out. I understand that inflation and market conditions exist, but I felt that the price I was paying for a 10x13 unit was getting to be very expensive. Over the past 3 years, my unit price has gone up around 16-18% a year. That by far exceeds inflation or any market condition that I'm aware of. But the thing that confuses me is that if I go to their website and look for the same size unit at the same location to rent, it's way cheaper. In fact, the first floor unit I used to have is now listed on their website as available, but it's half the price of what I was paying when I moved out. And at other locations, the rent is also way cheaper, at least on their website. If those prices are accurate, I'll probably just go to another facility and pay half of what I was paying before. I just don't understand why I'm paying way more than what their websites are showing. Long term customers should NOT be paying twice as much as new customers for the same unit. Long term customers should be treated with respect. I shouldn't have to move units just to get a cheaper rate, but I will if I have to. That's why I can't give a 5 star review.
