KNOW BEFORE YOU SIGN UP! This company is predatory and dishonest about how they price their units. They will tell you a low price to get you to commit to unit and then raise the price on you every couple months until you're up to the price that they want you to pay. A manager told us this would happen and that it was nowhere in the contract that they would do this. They pray on the fact that you won't want to move your stuff or in some cases not even able to move your stuff if you don't live in the area. You can try to fight back and they won't raise "as much" but they'll come back in a month or two and just keep raising. We started at $72 a month and now they're trying to make us pay $200+ eight months later. If they were just up front about this it would be a whole different story. Let us know what the actual price is and give a discount on the first few months but tell people what they will eventually have to pay so we can make an informed decision on where to store our stuff. Now we hate you as as company AND have to move our stuff when instead we would have either just gone somewhere else or just paid them the actual price they wanted but not felt scammed to get there. I don't care as much that the price is higher but I do care that they have lied to us the entire time just to get us to pay that price. Please just ask before you use this company. What is the REAL price they're going to make you pay. Not just the price they're using to get you in the door to trap you

I have been looking for a storage unit for a week or so, and I had a place I wanted to rent, but out of 4 trips to the location I was only able to talk to staff 1 time. They were closed or out of the office the other 3 times. While waiting at lunch for them to reopen, I decided to check a couple more places, and I found Extra Space Storage. I went through the web site to rent the storage unit, but was unable to complete it since I needed to pre-pay for longer than just one month. I decided to stop in and talk with the staff at Extra Space Storage, to see if they could help me out. The facility is clean and well kept. Not a lot of parking but there is quite a bit of street parking, so overall not a bad thing. Walking into the office I was met with a very bubbly and personable Michelle, who was able to set me up with a 6-month pre-payment option. Though not the year I was hoping for, 6 months will work. And about $400 per year cheaper than the other facility I was trying to rent at. Overall very impressed with the very clean facility and amazing staff. Thank you Michelle for a pleasant renting experience.
