I began renting a unit at this Extra Space Storage location in 2023, when my monthly rate was $154. Since then, my rent has been increased multiple times, more than doubling my original rate and now exceeding $300 per month. These increases were applied with no advance notice. I would not recommend this location to customers looking for long-term, price-stable storage solutions.

Be forewarned! This place will run up the bill on you over time. I have to help take care of my sister's storage unit, who is disabled because my dad passed away and now it's my job. They have run off the bill on her storage unit to over $500 a month - Way higher than any advertised rate. She is a longtime customer and this is what you get for loyalty. So instead of keeping the price reasonable and keeping our business we are getting her stuff out of there before the place puts us in the poor house. You would think long term storage rentals would be ideal! The manager, Joe, will not speak to me about the bill, even though he knows I am the one who pays it and my sister authorizes him to talk to me about it. He's rude and his customer service is TERRIBLE. USE THIS PLACE AT YOUR OWN RISK! AND IF YOU DO USE IT, KNOW WHAT'S COMING!

Great storage facility at 5 Lupi Ct in Mahopac. Staff very friendly. All size units dry and clean. Love the App to open and close fence. Will be back if I ever need storage again. Thank You
