Pleasant experience! Manager is very nice and helpful. Units are clean and temp well maintained.

I rented online and had a few problems when I arrived at the storage facility it was over the 4th of July weekend and wasn’t available help there to answer questions and I was under the impression that I could gain access 24 hrs & when I was able to load my U-Haul and get there it was close to 10pm we wanted to unload when it cooled off some after a long hot day of moving…it was a little confusing once we got inside gate we found building that our storage unit was in but there were 2 doors on each side of building and they weren’t labeled & no directions for getting inside so we had to try to figure it out ourselves! Each door had to enter code again to get in and then there was a door code that nothing told me what that might be I finally figured out where my unit was & was able to put code in on wall but didn’t know how or what code I needed for the key code on entry door so two nights in a row I couldn’t gain access to my unit first night because I got there too late it told me when I tried to get in the storage facility was closed the second night I got there in time and still couldn’t open door with code on handle, this caused me to have to pay for my truck rental extra two days…tried going online to questions and answers didn’t find what I needed, tried online chat and calling number for assistance however never reached anyone for help! Someone did call me early Monday morning and I explained my problems and was told the door where my unit was the code didn’t work on it so I couldn’t gain access go to another door think she said door 3 or 5? I asked how I knew which door that was because they have no numbers on them she then told me to go in any door and walk to my area to open door from inside…finally made it in got to my storage and could not get my door open!! It wouldn’t slide or move to be able to pull door up! Of course by this time the office was closed again and I couldn’t talk to anyone about if there was certain procedure to get door open! Finally figured out I had tools in my truck and used a tool to force the slide for lock over and be able to lift the door!! I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it at how clean it was inside and was grateful for the air conditioning working well in the building helping make it a little more bearable to move stuff inside! I appreciate the facility having courtesy dolly to use for free it came in handy! Very impressed with cleanliness and how well the area was lit up I felt safe inside the gates and after I finally was inside everything went smoothly! The lady I talked to in office also allowed me to have 24 hr access till I just got moved in when I requested I haven’t used the late hrs yet but it’s very kind to be allowed the ability to do that if we need to! The area was easy to get to and look forward to being able to store our things there for awhile! Thank you Charlotte Crum

Had a fantastic experience at Extra Space Storage, thanks to Shawn. From the start, he was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make the whole process smooth and stress-free. The location is in a peaceful, tucked-away area — super clean, quiet, and well-maintained. Not a lot of traffic or chaos, which made me feel at ease. As someone who occasionally deals with anxiety in unfamiliar settings, I really appreciated how comfortable everything felt. The facility itself is spotless, secure, and easy to navigate. But it’s Shawn’s customer service that really stood out — the kind of person who treats you with kindness and respect. Definitely the type of guy you'd want to grab a drink with after a long day. 10 out of 10 — highly recommend. And if corporate is reading this… give that man a raise. ??
