I rated this Extra Space Storage location five stars because: 1. Value - Hands down the best priced Extra Space in the area. 2. State of the facility - Immaculately clean, carefully maintained, and always comfortable no matter how cold or hot it is outside. 3. Staff - They are friendly, easy to work with, and accommodating. 4. Location - Easy to access since it is in the area where 51st St., I-35, 290, and 183 all come together. 5. Overall - It's a great place to store.

Im editing my review. The salesman who helped us, Cody, basically forced us to give them a five star review and watched over my shoulder while I did it before he helped us, and said he wasn’t supposed to be helping us like that in a secretive voice as his boss was there. To start, he basically lied to us when we first got the unit saying they had a deal on the larger units for the first month, so we should move into that first, then before we get billed for the second month, we switch to a smaller unit and therefore save money, which ended up being a lie. We go back a day before they were supposed to bill us for the second month and move our stuff into a smaller unit and sign a new renters agreement and end the other one. We paid $85 for the new smaller unit that day. Then, i woke up the next morning and checked my bank account only to find that they still charged me for the second month of the larger unit we moved out of, which was an extra $123. I don’t have a car and rely on ride share and public transportation to get to work, and they left me with $2 in my bank account, so they severely hindered my ability to get to work, as well as afford food and other expenses. I called them to have it refunded, which they did, but because it was Friday, the refund wouldn’t post until the next week, and still hasn’t. The guy I spoke to on the phone said the salesman who helped us initially probably just forgot to cancel our agreement on the other unit, which I don’t believe because we sat there and signed a completely new agreement and spent time moving our stuff. Very unprofessional and I will be speaking to a person in a higher position about the situation.

I feel like storage units are always a headache. They're expensive, inconvenient, dirty, etc, etc. NOT THE CASE with this one. It's spotless to the point where you could comfortable eat off the floor. Not a insect in site, well lit, secure, and the fellas in the office are super helpful. Getting a unit was a quick, easy, and inexpensive process and moving everything in was super easy with the available carts to assist. Thanks for making it easy!

We are located right off the I-35 Frontage road, south of where it intersects with HW 290. We are North of the University of Texas, Across the HWY from Target, and located right after the Courtyard Marriot.

Directions from the North:
Drive south on I-35. Take the exit toward 51st St. Merge onto N I-35 Frontage Road. Our storage facility will be on the right across I-35 from Target.
