The EXTRA SPACE STORAGE located 13820 Monfort Dallas’ Brittni Garcia and Desmond are incredible, thoughtful staff at this location. I enjoyed working with both onsite. They are informed and insightful to the storage industry. I was elated they had a great storage space nearby the apartment and located by the elevator. Desmond set everything up and I was so relieved to move forward to other moving tasks to take place in less then 48 hours. However, that night my contract sent by EXTRA SPACE STORAGE was inaccurate, on all three separate emails for the one unit I needed. I call customer service and reached “Robert A.” at the call center. The next 50 minutes was uncomfortable to the point he stated, “just give me your money I will help you”. Reluctantly, I paid 6 months in full just to receive lease answers that normally free by business industry standards. And my instincts were right. He made promises to get money and the next morning all the lease details he verbally agreed to were reset to the missent lease that initiated my call of assistance. If you get “Robert A” on a customer service call with EXTRA SPACE STORAGE – hang up and start over. His recorded interactions are under strict review. Thank you, EXTRA SPACE STORAGE, for being responsible and accountable. Kudos to Brittni in being so nice in person in the aftermath and clearing this lease and hitting reset. I walked out more assured that I was heard, understood and got the unit and move in date that Desmond and I had intended the day before. Lesson learned – go in person and avoid a call center.
