Update: Got a call back from the manager — the new price is $156 after the adjustment. So, expect a significant price increase once the promo ends, even if you weren’t notified about the 64% jump When I first rented my storage unit, the facility seemed eager to fill empty spaces. I made it clear that my items would be stored long-term and specifically asked several times how much the price could increase over time. I was told that any increase would depend on the market but shouldn’t be more than 20–30% of the original rate, and that I could always call to ask for discounts if needed. Well, guess what — my monthly rate jumped from $95 to $177, nearly double the original price. The increase itself is frustrating, but what’s worse is being told whatever it takes to get you to sign up. Customer service hasn’t been much better. You leave messages, they promise the manager will call back, but you never hear from him unless you keep calling repeatedly. Overall, I feel misled and disappointed by how this company treats long-term customers.
