HORRIBLE experience. Was paying $55 for a 5x10 which seemed reasonable but then the price went up to $83 a month with no warning after only 2 months of being there. Upon reading other customers reviews, I’ve seen they have done the same thing to other customers. I was behind on my unit because I had a baby in December and was going through a divorce and not working. I had called in to explain my situation to Anna (the manager) and she told me no problem just make the payment when I am able to. I got my first paycheck and when I went to make the payment I had a $120 foreclosure fee. I called in to speak with Anna and she said unfortunately those fees are not able to be waived and if I can’t pay it my unit will go up for auction. I told her that when I had called in initially to speak with her about my situation she never mentioned there would be any kind of additional fees and she said “I believe it states it in the lease disclosure” they were not able to work with me or budge at all. I payed the fee and scheduled my move out immediately. Really horrible customer service. I wanted to get on top of it and pay my overdue balances but $120 goes a long ways for a single mom who is just trying to afloat. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL

Since Extra Space acquired this property from Storage express, I have experienced significant and repeated rate increases on my unit. I have rented this unit just over a year, yet my monthly rent has now doubled since receiving the new rate increase shown in picture below. The company advertises attractive move in rates $82 per month that only last a short period. (Often two months). Then the increases are applied. I reached out to representatives and asked if I could get the rate advertised online. They told me that is just the move in special rate. I then asked about the rate increases which they then told me the rate reflects the current market in the area. However after contacting other local storage providers (Not owned by Extra Space), comparable units remain available at rates similar to my original $105 per month after move in specials. So beware of the move in special, be sure to get the price of what your unit will cost 6 months form now. I am grateful I have found a Storage unit owner that is transparent about pricing and isn't price gouging people and lying to them about going rates in the area. See you later Extra Space.

Buyer beware. Within your first year you will get not one but two significant prices increases. Soon you could be paying over 300 a month (depending on size) but guaranteed price increase is coming. The front gate is always broken and some water is dripping in our unit Started looking for better options. Response from Extra Storage was call number immediately. No answer, to VM Two days later. No response. Clown Show!
