The Storage unit is Great. BUT EVER SINCE THEY HIRED THIS NEW YOUNG MANAGER WITH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. INCREASINGLY UNIT PRICE ADJUSTMENTS EVERY 4 MONTHS. BEEN WITH THEM FOR OVER 10YEARS. RATE CHANGE MORE WITH THIS NEW MANAGER IN 1 YEAR THAN THE WHOLE TIME I BEEN WITH THEM. WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. WARNING TO OTHERS! THEY NEED TO GET RID OF THAT NEW BAD SEED. BEFORE THE PLACE GO DOWN THE DRAIN.

Feb 28, 2026 Update Love my Aldie Extra Space Storage. Have been there for years as it began life as Guaranty, and gave Sahar a rave review when Extra Space took over. Was glad (good sign) to hear that Sahar was still at the company at a more convenient locale. This time I dealt witg Daniel (C-Suite take note) and my rave review again reinforces that success requires great facilities combined with top notch staffing, Daniel is a gem. I have two other units closer to home at Centergate in Ashburn (their staff just got a separate rave review). Centergate is more upscale - covered parking, auto doors, internal elevator but Aldie is the perfect long term lower price large unit option (Aldie is my Papa Bear, Centergate my Mama Bear and Baby Bear units). Daniel called to remind me my previous rental term was coming to end and we updated quickly. He made a fair deal (kudos for notimg the senior citizen discount) and we updated auto pay. I visit often and rarely see staff (though I feel safe knowing they are monitoring). So besides my thank you, promised Daniel this five star review (as I know senior management takes this seriously). Keep up the good work. Extra Space - wherever you are and whatever you need check it out. Visit your preferred site before signing up and talk to local manager. Favilities and price are essential but top notch care and service is unique. GO. October 2022 update. Guaranty has been taken over by Extra Space (funny enough a shop where I have other units). Today I stopped by for Halloween decorations and all was a breeze (I do note that Extra Space systems were always superior so am glad to have that back office - the facility is still clean and safe. Today I broke a couple of LED ornaments during my visit and though I could sweep it up I had no dustpan and bin. I stopped by the front desk to see if I could get some tools and Sahar (who I waited for as she was on the phone excellently dealing with another customer billing questions) thanked me for stopping by and told me thanks for the heads up but she would attend, no need for me to attend. I figured (knowing how C Suite works) that this deserved a rave review so management takenotice and reward. You have a competent (and sweet and polite) gem on staff. This is just the final reason that if you need space go to Extra Space Aldie. Keepup the top class work.
