I've just moved into the space, but everything has been smooth so far. Both representatives I interacted with, Alex (?) and Shannon were attentive and considerate. The app opened the gate like it was supposed to, the yard was easy to navigate, and the unit was clean (after Alex came and swept out some fallen insulation bits on the floor). There was a rolling cart available, which made things much easier. Someone mentioned to me that rates can go up several times in the first year; the company is required to give 30 days' notice if raising the rate, but note that they may send the notice in the physical mail. If rate increases turn out to be egregious, I'll return to update my review. While almost everything has been positive, I'm going to point out the one part of the process that bothered me: making the first payment and lease signing. Online, they have you input your credit card information BEFORE they show you the lease. I am not in the habit of paying rent before seeing a lease. I chose to go in person when I realized this, and the representative on site was able to give me a clear idea what was in the lease, which made me comfortable signing. I believe people really should read leases carefully, which brings me to the second thing that bothered me: After you pay online, you have the option to sign the lease without seeing it. You have to click each part of the lease agreement one by one to get them to display on the screen; otherwise, you are signing something you have not read. This feels like a shady choice to me. The company made this choice that encourages people, intentionally or not, to skip reading the lease. This is not the terms of service for GrubHub, which I have been comfortably ignoring for years -- this is a binding contract. You shouldn't be able to skip past it so easily. Short: Employees good. Space rectangular and clean. Online service encourages you to decide too quickly. Read contracts. Hope this helps.
