This is my first storage unit, so I was a very precatious when trying to find the right one for me. After doing my due diligence, I landed on Extra Space. The rates are the best of all the storage companies in the area and it had good reviews. When I got there, Kathryn was the person who took care of me. She was kind and friendly and she got me all the info I needed for a smooth transition into my unit. When I got to my unit I was a little unsettled. I noticed immediately that there were spiderwebs in two of the corners, and I saw a spider in a third corner. Being the opposite of a spider fan, I called the office to let them know. Kathryn came to my unit to inspect with me and instantly empathized, letting me know that this unit was definitely not up to their cleaning standards, and apologized right away. We went back to the office and she found me another unit right away. This unit was much cleaner, but Kathryn insisted on cleaning it for me before I moved my things in, ensuring that I would be completely satisfied. She let me know that they do routine pest control on all of their properties and that she would be letting management know about the spiders in the previous unit immediately. I am incredibly impressed with the level of service Kathryn provided me today. I hate spiders and was definitely ready to cut my losses and find another storage facility if it weren’t for her going above and beyond to provide me with peace of mind.
