Extra Space Storage is pleased to announce that we’ve been recognized with a Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award for the Best Places to Work in 2020. This list is based on the input of employees who provide career and company feedback on Glassdoor, one of the world’s largest job and recruiting sites.

Glassdoor releases its Best Places to Work list each year after analyzing reviews of companies provided by current and former employees who voluntarily and anonymously share insights about their workplaces. When reviewing a company on Glassdoor, employees are asked to rate their satisfaction on a number of factors from overall company impressions to more specific issues like compensation, benefits, management, and work-life balance.

“Management at Extra Space is the best I’ve ever seen,” said an anonymous Extra Space Storage employee in a Glassdoor review posted this year. “I always feel supported and empowered by my manager. One of the best things about working for Extra Space Storage is that I know the things I do matter. If I accept challenge and change with a positive attitude, work with integrity, and consistently do my best every day, it is noticed, and it matters.”
